The Colonial Tavern is just minutes from Southford Falls, where you will find a covered bridge, ponds, falls, hiking trails and picnic areas. It is a very popular spot for wedding pictures, High School Senior, or family portraits. In the last year we have shot all, plus engagement sessions at Southford Falls. Oxford is also home to The Oxford House , and is not far from The Crown Plaza , Southbury, the luxury accommodations at The Heritage Hotel, Southbury, or the sophisticated The Waterview, in Monroe.
