Heartprint Photography had a wonderful 2011, and one of our highlights was photographing an amazing Vow Renewal/35th wedding anniversary at the beautiful New Haven Country Club! This was a really special evening with great people and amazing attention to detail.  We will post more about the event and celebration itself soon, but wanted to start by giving a very big round of applause to Sharon Elizabeth’s Floral Design of CT.  The florals were lush and opulent, rich and lavish!  With elegance and style they transformed the beautiful English Tudor country club into an amazing setting for this special event.  Sharon Elizabeth’s was responsible for all the floral design as well as the rich table linens, silver table candelabra, and mounds and mounds of rose petals lining the aisle!  And yes, that main bouquet was heart shaped, of course we would love that!

Here is a Heartprint newborn only a few days old snuggling up with her teddy bear, then again as a happy toddler, and then this year with her brand new baby brother!!!

We have been so super busy all summer and fall that we never had a chance to mention an honer we received a couple of months ago.  An interview with Jill Kisel/Heartprint Photography appeared in the September issue of Professional Photographer Magazine along with a photograph we took at an event at The Waterview this past Spring. Professional Photographer Magazine is the official journal of The Professional Photographers of America, Inc.  Thank you PPA, we are honored!

Shannon and Rob’s engagement session was at one of our all time favorite CT towns, Mystic!  We photograph very often in and around Mystic as it really is the quintessential CT Seaport Community.  I LOVE when our couples choose a really unique location for their engagement session, and this couple is the perfect example!  Shannon has been coming to Mystic with her family for her whole life.  They always attend Mystic Seaport’s Annual Community Carol Sing so what better location to capture their engagement photos.  We will be photographing Shannon and Rob’s summer wedding at Avon Belle Terrace but on the flip side, their winter engagement session captured a whole other season!
